Meet Sean
This is Sean (pronounced Seen). He's our Chief Inspiration Officer. Sean is President and CEO of International Tourism Resources Group (ITRG). A company focused on Education, Promotion and Development of Inbound Tourism into the United States. In this role, he looks to furthering knowledge and understanding to US companies and Organizations on how to successfully enter, and work with the International Tourism Industry.
Prior to ITRG Sean was Vice President and General Manager of Mark International where he was responsible for all International Programs. In that role, Sean was responsible for developing and implementing a strategic initiative to establish Mark International as a leading Inbound Operator. Sean also oversaw all Marketing, Product Development and Operational functions, while delivering a positive financial result in tandem with an aggressive growth strategy.
Prior to Mark International Sean held key positions with many industry leaders in the Inbound Tourism Industry; GTA Travel, AlliedTPro, FTI (meeting Point USA), Bonotel Exclusive Travel and Americantours International. Sean held a diverse array of responsibilities in these roles covering Product Development, Sales and Marketing in Groups and Meetings, Escorted Tours and FIT fields.
Sean has held positions on many industry boards including IITA, US Travel and IPW advisory, as well as being a recipient of The Stanley Fisher Award for contributions to tourism and is a 3-time Chairman’s Circle Honoree.
A native of the United Kingdom Sean moved to the United States in 1991 to pursue his career in tourism, after many years working in destination services in Europe. Sean enjoys cooking, and has been writing a cookbook for 8 years, “one day it may get published and I can retire”.
